Within Reach is a musical reflection on the hidden cost of well-being.
It explores a life that appears stable, safe, and complete from the outside — a home, a family, a future being built with care. But beneath that stability there is a quieter loss: the gradual giving away of parts of oneself. Not only through work, but through time, attention, emotional presence, and the constant need to hold everything together.
The pain of the piece is not dramatic or accusatory. Nothing has collapsed. Love is still there. Responsibility is still there. The house still stands. But that is exactly where the tension lives: a person can build the world they hoped to belong to, and slowly become only its architect, its protector, its support — close to everything, yet no longer fully inside it.
Within Reach is about the distance that can grow inside a life that still looks whole. About the moments that remain near, loved, and visible — but not fully reachable anymore.
